Xiaomi has registered a new design patent for a smartphone that uses a similar design with the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO).
There is no camera in the front-end, which means that the Chinese company intends with this design to use the hidden front camera under the screen or delete the front camera completely. This design patent has been monitored by LetsGoDigital and gives us a full idea of how this smartphone will look. The graphics attached to this design patent show us the smartphone with a dual camera in the back with the LED flash on it, while the phone is displayed with a USB Type-C port at the bottom of the device next to the edge of the curved screen.
Overall, we can hear more news about this design in the coming days, but we hope this is a hint of the design that is supposed to come with Xiaomi's next flagship phone, which is likely to be named Xiaomi Mi9.
